Child & Family Resources is proud to host the 2017 Redefining Safe Conference at the Hilton Tucson East on March 21-22, 2017.
The theme for this year’s two-day conference is Meeting the Sexual Health needs of Systems-Involved Youth, and our overall goal is to help connect systems and services to increase stability and continuity for the youth they serve.
The Redefining Safe Conference will unite professionals working with systems-involved youth to ensure that “askable” adults are trained in trauma-informed approaches, positive youth development, and other topics. This conference will cover what adults working in systems need to know to to provide greater stability and help support continuity of care.
Here is what attendees had to say about last year’s conference:
“This training should be required by parents and foster parents who are involved in any way with DCS.”
“I learned things that will help me improve the way I work with young people.”
“I think the workshops were very educational and will help me to be a better educator and askable adult.”
