Every April, Child & Family Resources leads awareness efforts during Child Abuse Prevention Month. This year we’re kicking off Child Abuse Prevention Month early with Blooming Communities, a new community connection and collaboration event taking place Saturday, March 28th from 9am to 12pm at our Tucson headquarters.
Wear Blue Day
This year’s Wear Blue Day is on April 16th and we aim to increase awareness efforts with our Cheers for Children: Networking and Awareness Mixer (can you make a page for this as well, I will add this pages info and the info for the BC page in a task soon). This event will highlight the transformative programs that positively affect individuals and families across the community, to prevent child abuse.
Help us call attention to this month of advocacy, education, and resource sharing by following some simple steps:
- Wear our official Blue Shirt or rock your own!
- Post a picture on social media and don’t forget to tag us (@childfamilyresources) and use #cfrbluecrew #childabuseprevention
Don’t feel like posting a picture of yourself?
No problem! Right click and save any of the images below and share to your feed! We even wrote a caption for you to make sharing super simple!
Today is #WearBlueDay and I am showing my support of @childfamilyresources by painting my feed blue to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Child & Family Resources works tirelessly to prevent child abuse by offering programming, support and education to young children, families and childcare professionals in Arizona. Show your support by wearing blue and sharing this post! #cfrbluecrew #childabuseprevention #cfrarizona
