Connie Curnett brings over 30 years of experience and expertise in non-profit financial management. Since 2011, she has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Child & Family Resources, where she leads all financial operations, including accounting practices, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement within the financial community. Recently, she expanded her leadership role by also taking on the responsibilities of Chief Operations Officer.
Connie finds mission-based work deeply rewarding and has dedicated the majority of her career to organizations that make a meaningful impact in their communities. Prior to joining Child & Family Resources, she held leadership roles in several nonprofit organizations. Beyond her nonprofit work, she has also been an entrepreneur, having owned a Farmers Insurance Agency and a technology services business, Computer Related Services.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the University of Delaware, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Grand Canyon University. Connie has also been actively involved in community leadership, serving on numerous boards including the Kino Rotary Club, the Kern County Better Business Bureau, and the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
