Elsa Peterson is an experienced early childhood education professional with over 20 years of service in teaching, program development, and community engagement. Currently, she is the co-owner of Inspiring Lives LLC which focuses on developing educational programs, both in person and on social media.
She spent two years as an Education Specialist at Children’s Museum Tucson, supporting nature-based, inclusive learning experiences for children and families.
Previously, she led professional development initiatives for tribal early educators as the Community of Practice Coordinator at Tohono O’odham Community College, where she managed grant-funded programs to improve kindergarten readiness. Her background includes extensive classroom teaching, curriculum design, and leadership in early childhood systems.
She serves on multiple regional and state-level councils focused on education equity and family support, including the Tohono O’odham Nation Regional Partnership Council and sits on the Board of Directors for the Center for Economic Integrity.
Elsa Peterson holds a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University and two Associate Degrees from Pima Community College.
