Kimberly Braxton Anekwe

Kimberly Braxton Anekwe is the immediate past Chair of the Board of Directors at Child & Family Resources. She has served on the Board for five years and is also the CFR liaison sitting on the Center for Economic Integrity Board of Directors.

Kimberly is an attorney, with the majority of her experience in criminal felony prosecution. She has a personal interest in juvenile diversion programs, having witnessed the benefits of youth intervention and engagement. She currently serves as the Teen Advisor and Legislative Chair for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. – Tucson Chapter, an organization whose mission is to develop the next generation of African American leaders by engaging children in legislative advocacy, community service and philanthropy. Kimberly hails from Detroit, Michigan, but spent several years as an expatriate in the Middle East. She and her family – a husband and two sons – now happily call Tucson their home of ten years.
