Tucsonans Come Together to Paint New Midtown Mural

Child & Family Resources invited the community to join in a vibrant and creative event, Community Canvas: Paint by Numbers with Pen Macias, which took place on Saturday, October 25th, from 8:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m at 2800 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716.

This fun filled community event brought people together to help paint a large-scale mural facing Broadway Blvd., designed and sketched by local Tucson muralist Peniel “Pen” Macias. Participants helped bring the mural to life “paint-by-numbers” style, no artistic experience required!

“This mural isn’t just about brightening up a wall,” said Diane Fellows, CEO and President of Child & Family Resources. “It’s a reflection of what we believe at Child & Family Resources: that lasting impact is made when people come together with a shared vision. Just like the mural, thriving communities are built with many hands, diverse perspectives, and a common purpose.”

Thank you to everyone who participated in brightening up our headquarters.
