Little Girl With Graduation Cap
You can help Arizona’s children reach their full potential from the very first step
Mary Swallow

Dear Friends,

As Board Chair of Child & Family Resources, now more than at any other time of the year am I reminded of the vital work that we’re doing for children and families in our community. As our children begin their first days in school, we want them to have what they need to succeed. But too many Arizona children are falling behind before they even set foot inside the classroom – and it’s preventable.

1 IN 4 ARIZONA CHILDREN LIVE IN POVERTY AND NEARLY 70% DON’T ATTEND PRESCHOOL DUE TO COST

That’s why this year we’re launching 4 mini-campaigns to highlight the issues, and showcase how Child & Family Resources is tackling them, and most importantly, how you can help!

This week we’re launching Big Steps, our fall campaign to focus on school readiness and what children need to succeed.

Our programs such as Healthy Families, Building Bright Futures, and the Arizona Early Intervention Program give at-risk children the tools they need to succeed, and parents the guidance and support to encourage their success and well-being.

Please help Arizona children start this new year on a great foot by making a gift today!

Many thanks for all of your support!

Mary Swallow
Board Chair
